Boat Trip and Preparation for the Deep Dive

• Our diving day begins as we set sail from Koh Samui towards the open waters surrounding Koh Tao. During the journey, you can enjoy the scenery while our team of certified PADI instructors gives you a comprehensive briefing. We’ll focus on the unique features of Chumphon Pinnacle, a deep-water granite pinnacle, going through the dive plan and safety procedures for this exciting adventure.

First Dive: Marine Life in Constant Motion

• Upon reaching Chumphon Pinnacle, you’ll get ready for the first of two spectacular dives. As you descend, you’ll be greeted by an incredible carpet of anemones covering the rock and, above all, the enormous schools of fish that make this site famous: fusiliers, snappers, batfish and huge schools of barracuda forming spectacular swirling formations around you.

Surface Interval: Lunch with a View of Paradise

• After the first dive, we’ll return to the boat for a well-earned surface interval. Enjoy a delicious lunch, refreshing drinks and fresh fruit, all accompanied by spectacular views of Koh Tao’s coastline. It’s the perfect opportunity to share stories from your first dive and relax in the sunshine.

Second Dive: Encounters with Large Predators

• On our second dive, we’ll explore the ledges and deeper sections of the pinnacle in search of its most impressive inhabitants. We’ll look for large groupers hiding among the rocks and keep our eyes on the deep blue, as Chumphon Pinnacle is famous for occasional visits from majestic whale sharks and, for particularly lucky divers, the impressive bull sharks that sometimes patrol the area.

Return to Koh Samui: The End of an Epic Day

• With new entries in your dive logbook and memories of spectacular underwater encounters, we’ll begin the relaxing journey back to Koh Samui, bringing an unforgettable world-class diving day to a close.

• Important Medical Restrictions: For safety reasons, this tour is not suitable for pregnant women, anyone under 18 or people with significant medical conditions, particularly respiratory, heart or back problems.

• Required Diving Experience: This tour is designed for certified divers. Due to the depth and possible currents at Chumphon Pinnacle, Advanced Open Water certification or higher is recommended.

• Instructors Available in Spanish (Very Limited Availability): Spanish-speaking diving instructors are rare in the region. To secure a place with an instructor in your preferred language, it is essential to check availability and book as far in advance as possible. Instructors are also available in English.

• Safety First: Your safety is our top priority. All instructors are PADI-certified and trained in first aid. The boat is equipped with emergency oxygen.

• Allergies and Special Requirements: Your wellbeing matters to us. Please let us know about any food allergies or special requirements when making your booking.

• Itinerary Notice: Your safety is our priority. The route, island stops and order of the itinerary may be changed or cancelled without prior notice depending on weather and sea conditions, including waves and tides.

Booking notice: To secure your place, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible, especially during high season. Many of our tours have limited capacity and fill up quickly, so we cannot guarantee availability for bookings made only 1 or 2 days in advance.

Itinerary notice: To ensure your safety and the best possible experience, the order of the stops or the route may change without prior notice due to traffic, weather conditions or other external factors.

Restrictions: Pregnant women, people under 18 years old and with medical and/or back problems cannot join the tour.

Accident insurance: To ensure the validity of the accident insurance, you must provide the full name, gender and passport number of all participants. Failure to provide this information may result in the cancellation of your booking. During high season, we recommend securing your place in advance.

Pick-ups: For group tours, our vehicle will pick up participants in sequence, so we kindly ask you to wait patiently at the entrance of your hotel. If you feel the wait is excessive, please contact the operator directly. If your accommodation is inaccessible to the vehicle, pick-up will take place at a nearby alternative meeting point agreed in advance.

No. It is designed for experienced, certified divers, as it includes two open-water dives at greater depths, with possible currents.
