Day 1 · Cruising on Cheow Lan Lake and overnight stay in a floating bungalow

• The adventure begins when you arrive at the pier in Khao Sok and board a traditional longtail boat. You’ll cruise across the stunning Cheow Lan Lake, surrounded by towering limestone mountains and lush tropical rainforest, until you reach your floating accommodation.

• After lunch and some time to relax, you’ll be able to enjoy the surroundings and discover one of the planet’s oldest ecosystems up close. As evening approaches, you’ll head back onto the lake for a wildlife-spotting boat safari before enjoying dinner and spending the night in your air-conditioned floating bungalow.

Day 2 · Sunrise on the lake, exploration safari and return journey

• The second day begins with one of the most special moments of the trip: a boat safari at sunrise, when mist blankets Cheow Lan Lake and the rainforest slowly awakens. After breakfast, you’ll have some free time to relax, enjoy a final swim or go kayaking before starting your return journey.

• On the way back to the pier, you’ll stop at the place known as the Guilin of Thailand, one of the lake’s most photogenic locations. You’ll have time to take photos and say goodbye to this spectacular landscape. The experience ends in Khao Sok, with a packed picnic lunch provided before you continue to your next destination.

Yes. Staying overnight in a floating bungalow allows you to enjoy the lake after the day-trip boats have returned. The atmosphere is much more peaceful, and you’ll have the opportunity to watch the sunrise through the mist, enjoy a boat safari and experience the lake in a much more complete way.

Is electricity available during the day?

No, there is no electricity during the day. However, this has little impact on the experience, as tours usually depart very early and return in the afternoon, when the electricity supply at the accommodation has been restored.

What is included in the 2-day Khao Sok tour?
