Itinerary

07:30–08:00 Morning Pick-up

  • Our day in paradise begins with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation. From there, we’ll travel through Khao Sok’s scenic landscapes to the impressive Ratchaprapha Dam, the gateway to the magical waters of Cheow Lan Lake. The exact pick-up time will depend on your accommodation’s location and the number of participants.

 

Boarding and National Park Registration

  • On arrival at the pier, we’ll register to enter the National Park before boarding our traditional longtail boat. Get ready for an unforgettable water adventure as the boat glides across the lake’s turquoise waters.

 

Boat Trip, Bamboo Rafting and Coral Cave

  • Over the next two and a half hours, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive exploration of the lake. Our traditional boat journey will take us through spectacular scenery featuring steep limestone cliffs. We’ll stop at the famous Three Rocks landmark for the iconic photo before disembarking for a short jungle walk. At the end of the trail, a traditional bamboo raft awaits to take us to the entrance of fascinating Coral Cave, an underground world we’ll explore on foot.

 

Traditional Lunch at a Floating Raft House

  • After our adventure, we’ll arrive at a floating raft house surrounded by spectacular natural scenery. Here, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Thai lunch while taking in the wonderful views.

 

Free Time for Swimming and Kayaking

  • After lunch, you’ll have free time to enjoy paradise at your own pace. Take a refreshing swim in the lake, hop into a kayak to explore the surroundings or simply relax on the floating deck and soak up the tranquillity.

 

15:00–17:30 Return to the Mainland

  • We’ll say goodbye to this idyllic spot and enjoy a relaxing longtail boat ride back to the pier. Once ashore, our comfortable minivan will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation, arriving at approximately 17:30.

  • Pick-up: Morning pick-up directly from your accommodation in the Khao Sok area.

  • What to Bring: Please bring swimwear, a towel, a change of clothes, comfortable walking shoes that can get wet, sunscreen, a hat and your camera.

  • National Park: We’ll be visiting a protected natural environment. Please follow your guide’s instructions to help preserve the beauty of the lake and its ecosystem.

  • Guide: The excursion is led by a local English-speaking guide who knows the park’s hidden gems.
