Cheow Lan Lake Tour from Khao Lak

06:00 – Morning Pick-up

• We’ll start early with pick-up from your accommodation in Khao Lak and head towards Khao Sok National Park. The exact pick-up time will depend on your accommodation’s location and the number of participants.

Transfer to the Lake

• Along the way, we’ll pass through rural landscapes and plantations in southern Thailand before reaching the lake.

Traditional Longtail Boat Trip

• We’ll board a traditional boat for a scenic journey across the lake, surrounded by impressive limestone formations.

Lunch at a Floating Raft House

• We’ll arrive at a floating raft house to enjoy a Thai lunch overlooking the lake and its limestone mountains.

Free Time

• After lunch, you’ll have time to swim, relax or explore the surroundings by kayak.

Meeting Thailand’s Water Buffaloes

• On the way back, we’ll stop to see Thai water buffaloes, animals that have historically played an important role in the country’s agriculture.

Tham Pla – Fish Temple

• We’ll visit this unusual sanctuary, where thousands of fish live in the waters of a small temple.

Return to Khao Lak

• After a full day exploring Khao Sok, we’ll begin the journey back to your accommodation.

• Arrival is expected at approximately 16:30–17:00.

Important Information

• Pick-up: Pick-up takes place in the morning directly from your accommodation in the Khao Lak area.

• National park: We’ll be visiting a protected natural environment. Please follow your guide’s instructions to help preserve the beauty of the lake and its ecosystem.

• Guide: The excursion is led by an English-speaking local guide who knows the park inside out.

• Allergies and special requirements: Your wellbeing is our priority. Please inform us of any food allergies or special requirements when booking.

• Itinerary notice: Your safety is our priority. The route, island stops or order of the itinerary may be changed or cancelled without prior notice depending on weather and sea conditions, including waves and tides.

Pick-ups: For group tours, our vehicle will pick up participants in sequence, so we kindly ask you to wait patiently at the entrance of your hotel. If you feel the wait is excessive, please contact the operator directly. If your accommodation is inaccessible to the vehicle, pick-up will take place at a nearby alternative meeting point agreed in advance.
