A special moment

Snorkelling in the Surin Islands is a chance to disconnect from the outside world. The water is astonishingly clear, colours appear naturally vibrant and marine life can be observed with ease. It’s a peaceful, immersive moment, one of those experiences you enjoy while floating in the water and remember long after your trip.

“Respect the environment and leave no trace of your visit.”

Visiting the Moken village is a cultural encounter that calls for sensitivity and respect. It is a community that lives simply, closely connected to the sea and traditional crafts. Following the fire that affected the village in 2019, many families continue to rebuild their daily lives with determination and dignity.

During your visit, a discreet and respectful attitude is appreciated. Remember that this is not a tourist attraction, but the home of people who keep an ancestral culture alive through the passage of time.

Responsible Snorkelling

Let’s Protect the Marine Treasures of the Andaman Sea

We invite you to enjoy the reefs and marine life respectfully. This ecosystem is fragile and depends on all of us to survive.

Avoid touching or walking on corals, as they are living organisms that are extremely sensitive. Observe the fish without chasing them or disturbing their natural behaviour.

Do not collect shells or other natural objects, as they are part of the ecosystem’s delicate balance.

Whenever possible, use biodegradable sunscreen to help protect the reefs.

Small actions can make a big difference. Protecting this environment is the best way to ensure we can continue enjoying it today and in the future.
